Fibre provider change
事業者変更 jigyōsha henkō
Changing from one NTT wholesale fibre collaboration provider to another while normally reusing the same fibre access line.
Request a provider-change authorization number from the current provider and give it to the new provider before it expires. The switch is mainly contractual, but option transfers, IP telephone numbers, routers and IPv6 settings require confirmation.
Do not independently cancel the old fibre first unless instructed: that can turn a provider change into a new installation and create downtime. Confirm the change date, final old bill, new initial fee and any services that do not move automatically.
